Artesia DES FC Returns To SoCal Premier League

LA MIRADA, CA (August 22, 2025) – The SoCal Premier League is proud to announce Artesia DES FC as a returning league member.

Formed in 1972, Artesia DES FC re-enters the Southwest Premier League for the upcoming 2025-2026 Season.

“Artesia DES FC is one of the flagship Portuguese-founded clubs on the West Coast and the last remaining original member of the SoCal Premier League," Southwest Premier League Commissioner Kian Kohan said. "A true club, Artesia DES FC has won a Raul Briones Cup (2015) and might be the oldest club still competing in Southern California. It’s an honor for them to return again."

Based in Artesia, CA, Artesia DES FC (15-1-1 overall) finished top of the table in the SoCal Premier League’s 2024-’25 Division 2 Coast Region.
