SoCal Premier D1 Recap: FC United Kingdom Starts April With A Win

LA MIRADA, CA (April 8, 2025) - FC United Kingdom is back in the ‘Win’dum column.

Matt Windum scored three times as FCUK netted a 5-0 shutout win over Irvine FC Academy in a SoCal Premier League Men's 1st Division match at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, CA, on Sunday, April 6.

The win is the first in three matches for FC United Kingdom (9-1-6 overall), which was knocked out in the quarterfinals in this year's Raul Briones Cup.

Also on Sunday, Maxwell Rodriguez and DeShawn Mendel scored as La Familia FC beat Playmaker FC at Orange County Great Park, and five different players scored as AMSG Elite defeated Olympiacos CA at Pleasant View Park in Huntington Beach.
