SWPL Sets Championship Weekend For Rio Hondo College
LA MIRADA, CA (August 15, 2025) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces its upcoming Championship Weekend will be hosted Aug. 23-24 at Rio Hondo College in Whitter.
The SWPL semifinals kick off the action on Saturday as Sin City Mafia FC, the Nevada Premier League champion, takes on Colorado Switchbacks FC 2 from the Mountain Premier League starting at 12:30 p.m. Following the second SWPL semifinal, the NISA Nation West champion will be crowned as L.A. Force 2 hosts Sin City FC at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, the SWPL Championship Final will start at 5:30 p.m. Last year, Chula Vista FC won the inaugural SWPL Championship Final.
Purchase a $10 ticket on Saturday for SWPL Semifinal No. 1 and stay for Semifinal No. 2. Tickets for the NISA Nation West championship final on Saturday night will be sold separately. Attendance will require a wristband, available upon entry.

Rio Hondo College’s soccer stadium (3600 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601), and is a 200-seat facility with room for 200 fans to stand and watch.
