Freeman Cup Recap: Zapa FC In Search Of More Hardware

LA MIRADA, CA (April 28, 2026) - Zapa FC is looking to add to its trophy haul.

In a tournament run following a successful promotion campaign, Zapa FC beat AMSG U23s 3-2 in the semifinal round first leg of SoCal Premier League Brent Freeman Cup at Lake Forest Sports Park on Tuesday, April 19.

The reigning SoCal Premier League Division 2 champion, Zapa FC hosts the second leg at Lake Forest Sports Park on Sunday, April 26.

Luis Carlos scored three goals as Academia Gullit cruised past AMSG Elite 6-3 in the other semifinal at Orange County Great Park in Irvine on Sunday, March 22. Academia Gullit is also seeking its first trip to the Freeman Cup Final.
