Sebastian Pla Selected SWPL Player Of The Week

LA MIRADA, CA (October 21, 2025) - Montclair Academy FC midfielder Sebastian Pla has been selected Southwest Premier League Player of the Week for Oct. 13-19. 

Pla scored five goals and had three assists for Montclair Academy FC in a 12-0 victory over Atlas FC South Bay in a SoCal Premier League Men’s Second Division match at Orange County Great Park in Irvine on Saturday, Oct. 18.

A native of Colombia, Pla and his family moved to the United States in 20. Pla is a Montebello Schurr High School grad and previously played for La Familia FC (SoCal Premier League) and Problems FC (NISA Nation). 

The Southwest Premier League Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
