Wadhah Albarak Lifts Bay Area United To Abronzino Cup Final

SAN FRANCISCO (February 16, 2026) – Some players only need an opportunity to shine.

Wadhah Albarak’s goal in the 87th minute turned out to the match-winner as Bay Area United defeated JSC JASA 3-2 on Saturday, Feb. 14 in the semifinal round of the Pacific Premier League’s Umberto Abronzino Cup.

Albarak got going with a goal in the 40th minute and secured the win with the late tally despite an even later response from JSC JASA’s Graeme Kahn in the 90th minute.

Santa Clara SC got past In Motion FC in the other semifinal with a goal in the 75th minute from Juan Rivera. The Lions are looking to capture their second Abronzino Cup.

The fourth annual Abronzino Cup Final will take place at Reed & Grant Sports Park in Redwood City on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m. PT.
