Showdown Saturday Set For June 7 at Biola University

LA MIRADA, CA (May 30, 2025) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces its upcoming Showdown Saturday will be hosted at Biola University’s Al Barbour Field.

The SoCal Premier League’s Division Two title will be on the line first as I.E. Republic FC takes on Artesia DES FC at 2 p.m. PT, followed by the Brent Freeman Friendship Cup Final between FC Cypress and Forza SC at 4:30 p.m.

The Raul Briones Cup Final will wrap up festivities in the evening at 7 p.m. kickoff pitting tournament finalists Temecula FC and Problems FC, with the winner receiving a spot in the SoCal Premier League Community Shield match in August!

Purchase a $10 ticket for the Division Two Final and stay for both Freeman Cup and the Briones Cup Final! Tickets will be available at the door. Large groups can email infor@swplsoccer.com for more information.

Al Barbour Field is on the campus of Biola University (13800 Biola Ave., La Mirada, CA 90639), and is a 500-seat facility with room for 1,000 fans to stand and watch.

All three matches - including the Brent Freeman Cup Final and Raul Briones Cup Final - will be broadcast on YouTube via UnityViewTV.
