Brent Freeman Cup Semifinals First Leg Kicks Off
LA MIRADA, CA (April 23, 2024) – The first leg of the Brent Freeman Friendship Cup semifinals begins this weekend.
FC Cypress takes on Playmaker FC at Orange County Great Park at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday night, and Olympiacos CA hosts Forza SC at Pleasant View Park at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
FC Cypress was a Freeman Cup finalist in 2023, while both FC Cypress and Playmaker FC advanced to the Briones Cup Round of 16 last year.
Olympiacos CA has advanced to the Briones Cup Round of 16 each of the last two years and is making its first Freeman Cup semifinal appearance.
First-year club Forza SC is appearing its first SoCal Premier League tournament semifinal.
