SoCal Premier League Announces Partnership with L.A. Galaxy

LOS ANGELES (July 30, 2025) - The SoCal Premier League, the oldest, continuously-operating elite amateur soccer league in Southern California, and L.A. Galaxy, the most historic club in Major League Soccer, today announced a new partnership focused on delivering VIP experiences for its championship teams, players, and supporters.

SoCal Premier League is working with L.A. Galaxy to create a lasting partnership, which includes SoCal Premier League Night on Sept. 20 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif. This new partnership will place an increased focus on expanding the league’s connection with L.A. Galaxy and its fans.

“L.A. Galaxy is an incredible club that has created deep roots in Southern California since playing its first matches at the Rose Bowl. SoCal Premier League has been there the entire time, supporting the growth of the game in Southern California,” SoCal Premier League Commissioner Kian Kohan said.

“We are proud to partner with L.A. Galaxy to help deliver an exceptional experience for our championship teams and players, down on the field during pregame at Dignity Health Sports Park in less than two months,” said Kohan. “What an amazing opportunity, and the beginning of what's sure to be a beautiful long-term partnership with L.A. Galaxy.”

Primary to the partnership, La Familia FC, the SoCal Premier League 1st Division champions, has been invited down on the field before L.A. Galaxy's match against FC Cincinnati on Saturday, Sept. 20. The L.A. Galaxy will celebrate the team's accomplishments during SoCal Premier League Night with a digital display and photos.

Additionally, the SoCal Premier League Golden Boot award now is sponsored by L.A. Galaxy, with the club supplying Real Sociedad O.C.'s Ebrima Njie with the personalized official team jersey. Njie scored a league-best 19 goals and was selected as the SoCal Premier League's top player for the 2024/2025 season.

The SoCal Premier League's decades of experience in soccer includes supporting all levels of the game across Southern California. The league and the club are coordinating on multiple cross-branding initiatives, and L.A. Galaxy's mascot, Cozmo, may get involved.

SoCal Premier League teams, players, and supporters will be able to reserve a seat for SoCal Premier League Night on Saturday, Sept. 20. Ticketing information will be released soon.
