Joey Benitez Claims SoCal Premier League Second Division Golden Boot

LA MIRADA, CA (January 29, 2026) - There’s a new up-and-coming goal scorer in the SoCal Premier League.

With 20 goals over his last two seasons, Joey Benitez is that guy for Zapa FC.

Benitez, who scored seven times in his debut season, led SoCal Premier League’s Second Division during the 2025 Fall Season with 13 goals to help lead Zapa FC to promotion.

Montclair Academy FC’s Steward Alvayero and One More FC’s Velizar Dimov were tied for second on eight goals each. Fontana Legacy FC’s Jorden Hinz had seven.
