SCPL Week 6 Recap: Austin Tubbs Thumps In Two For Artesia

LA MIRADA, CA (October 20, 2025) - Artesia DES FC continues to rise.

Austin Tubbs scored twice as Artesia DES FC defeated Forza SC 3-0 in a SoCal Premier League First Division match at Oak Creek Park in Irvine on Sunday, Oct. 19. 

With the victory, Artesia DES FC (3-1-1 overall) remains in second place with 10 points. Real Sociedad (4-0-0) has a game in hand and is still in first place in the SCPL First Division with 12 points.

Also on Sunday, Mathias Windum scored three goals for FC United Kingdom in a 6-1 win over AMSG Elite at Oak Creek Park, the match between Real Sociedad O.C. and Temecula FC II was been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.

In the Second Division, Sebastian Pla scored five goals and assisted three times for Montclair Academy FC in a 12-0 win over Atlas FC South Bay at Orange County Great Park in Irvine on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Osamah Alqaraghuli and Feliks Murzabaev both scored goals for One More FC in a 5-1 win over FC Cypress at Yorba Linda High School Stadium.

Also on Sunday, Christian Gonzalez scored a hat trick as Academia Gullit defeated Zapa FC 3-2 at Lake Forest Sports Park, andFontana Legacy FC drew 1-1 with AMSG U23 at Raplh M. Lewis Sports Complex in Fontana.

Zapa FC (5-0-1) is still in first place for the SCPL Second Division after the loss with 15 points. Montclair Academy FC (4-0-0) is in second place.
