PPL Week 2 Recap: Legends SC Gets First Victory

SAN FRANCISCO (September 29, 2025) -= These Legends are first trying to be remembered.

Midfielder Sultan Rahimi scored the lone goal for Legends SC as they defeated Silicon Valley FC 1-0 in a Pacific Premier League Men’s First Division match at Kelly Park Soccer Field in Menlo Park, CA, on Saturday, Sept. 27. 

It’s the first win for Legends SC (1-0-1 overall), which joined the PPL this season.

Midfielder James Allison and Midfielder Mark Rodriguez both scored for In Motion FC in a 2-1 win over Santa Clara Sporting Club at Reed & Grant Sports Park in Santa Clara on Sunday, Sept. 28. In Motion FC is undefeated and is in first place on the table for the PPL after matchweek 2. 

Midfielder Aidan Durgerian scored a brace and added an assist as South San Francisco AC defeated Atletico San Jose 5-1 at Watson Park Turf Field in San Jose on Sunday, Sept. 28.

NOTE: The Dublin Celtic FC-JSC JASA match, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 at Dublin Sports Ground, was postponed after the first half and will be rescheduled for a later date.
