NPL Week 4 Recap: Qualities Combining For Villarreal LV United
LAS VEGAS (September 29, 2025) - With their powers combined, Villarreal and LV United are winning matches.
Midfielder Robin Walsh and forward Lamar Hayes scored goals for Villareal LV United FC in a 4-2 victory over Extreme Player Development in a Nevada Premier League Men’s First Division match at Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Hayes leads the NPL with three goals for VIllarreal LV United (2-0-1 overall), which merged before this season.
Forward Sergio Salazar scored a brace in the loss for Extreme Player Development (0-0-2), winless in its expansion campaign.
Midfielder Reiner Gonzalez scored a brace for Soccer Academy Nevada in a 5-2 win over Sin City FC Mafia at Mater Academy East High School Stadium in East Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Southern Utah FC drew 1-1 with Be Pro FC at Southern Utah University Soccer Field in Cedar City, UT, on Sunday, Sept. 28.
In the Nevada Premier League Men’s Second Division, Miguel Pina and Alexis Villegas both scored a goal for Be Pro FC Reserves in a 2-1 win over Sin City FC at Freedom Park Field in Las Vegas, NV, on Wednesday, Sept. 24, forward Sebastian Ortega scored a goal as Southern Utah FC II defeated Las Vegas United FC 2-1 at Little Valley Soccer Field in St. George, UT, on Saturday, Sept. 27.
NOTE: The STG Premier-Be Pro FC Reserves match scheduled for Little Valley Soccer Field on Friday, Sept. 26, was postponed and will be played at a later date.
