NPL Week 2 Recap: Sin City Mafia Gets Win In Its Season Opener

LAS VEGAS (September 15, 2025) - Sin City FC Mafia began defense of its Nevada Premier League First Division title with a narrow victory.

Forwards Jair Pardo and Miguel Higareda had a goal each as Sin City Mafia earned a 2-1 win over Be Pro FC at Mater Academy East High School Stadium in East Las Vegas, NV, on Sunday, Sept. 14.

On Saturday, Lamar Hayes scored a 17-minute hat trick as Villareal LV United FC defeated Rebels United 6-0 at Mater Academy East High School Stadium, and Robert Standon scored for the second consecutive game as Southern Utah FC played to a 1-1 draw against Soccer Academy Nevada at Southern Utah University Soccer Field in Cedar City, UT.

In the NPL’s Second Division, forward Noel Sajan scored a brace as Southern Utah FC II defeated Be Pro FC Reserves 3-2 on Saturday at Parowan High School Soccer Field in Parowan, UT.
