NPL Week 6 Recap: Rebels United Throws Wrech In Race

LA MIRADA, CA (October 13, 2025) - Rebels United is reveling in its role as a spoiler.

Jake Mecham and Jimi Villasenor had goals as Rebels United defeated Soccer Academy Nevada 3-1 in a Nevada Premier League First Division match at Mater Academy East High School Stadium in East Las Vegas, NV, on Sunday, Oct. 12.

With the loss, Soccer Academy Nevada stays in second place 10 ten points (3-1-1 overall), one point behind first-place Southern Utah FC (3-2-0).

In the NPL’s Second Division, Angel Morales and Walter Ochoa scored for Sin City FC Mob in a 2-1 win over Las Vegas United FC at Mater Academy East High School Stadium in East Las Vegas, NV, on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

Southern Utah FC II is in first place in the NPL Second Division with 13 points (4-1-0 overall), nine points ahead of Sin City FC Mob (1-1-2) and the rest of the field.
