Marcelo Santos Selected Pacific Premier League Player Of The Week

SAN FRANCISCO (October 8, 2025) - Santa Clara SC forward Marcelo Santos has been selected as Pacific Premier League Player of the Week for Oct. 1-5. 

Santos scored three goals as Santa Clara SC defeated Atletico San Jose 4-1 in a Pacific Premier League First Division match at Reed & Grant Sports Park in Santa Clara on Sunday, Oct. 5. 

Born in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Brazil, Santos moved to the United States in 2022. He previously played professionally for São Bernardo FC in Brazil, C.D. Mafra in Portugal and Desportivo Brasil in Brazil.  

The Pacific Premier League Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
