Problems FC Tops Temecula FC In Wild Raul Briones Cup Final

LA MIRADA, CA (June 7, 2025) - Some familiar faces returned to lift the Cup.

Angel Flores and Kentrell Dorsey scored two goals apiece as Worldwide Problems FC outlasted Temecula FC to win 6-3 and claim the SoCal Premier League Raul Briones Cup at Al Barbour Field on the campus of Biola University on Saturday might, June 7.

A Raul Briones Cup finalist last year, Problems FC led 2-0 before Temecula FC got on the scoreboard with penalty kick from Alberto Renteria.

Both teams produced own goals, and Problems FC held a 4-3 lead in a wild back-and-forth match before a stoppage in the 65th minute.

Gio Marin scored for Problems FC when play resumed, and Weldin Florian tacked on an insurance goal in the closing minutes.
