Switchbacks II Dominant In Winning SWPL Final

WHITTIER, CA (August 23, 2025) - Colorado Switchbacks II played like it had something to prove.

The Mountain Premier League champion got two goals from Rashed Jahar and added another late in a dominant 3-0 victory over Sin City Mafia on Saturday in the SWPL Final at Rio Hondo College.

"It turned out the be a really amazing weekend," Switchbacks II general manager Keelan Power said. "We’ve been looking forward to this and thought it was a great event with great competition."

Early goals from Jahar pushed the lead for Switchbacks II, which finished 9-0-1 overall and on top of the Mountain Premier League table.

Sin City Mafia, the Nevada Premier League champions, produced four shots on goal but were unable to break through against Switchbacks II’s stingy midfield defense.

In the second half, Perdo Fiurz pounced for a third goal as Switchbacks II completed its first SWPL championship.
