Real Sociedad O.C. Finishes Off Last Year’s Briones Cup Champ To Advance

LA MIRADA, CA (March 2, 2026) - The Royals had a big cushion to work with.

After earning a 5-0 win in the first leg, Real Sociedad O.C. kept it close enough to move on despite a 3-2 loss to Problems FC in the second leg at Oak Creek Park in Irvine on Sunday, March 1.

Real Sociedad O.C. advances to the semifinals and will play Montclair Academy FC in a two-leg series beginning Sunday, March 29 at Orange County Great Park in Irvine. Kickoff time will be announced.

Montclair Academy FC used a 4-1 victory at South Fontana Sports Complex on Sunday, March 1 to come from behind to defeat Pasadena Cali SC 6-4 over two legs to earn a spot in the next round.

Temecula FC received a 3-0 forfeit win over FC Cypress at Oak Creek Park on Sunday, March 1 to complete an 8-0 two-legged shutout. The Quails next play Forza SC, which won a high-scoring back-and-forth against FC United Kingdom 5-6 (8-6) at Oak Creek Park on Sunday, March 1.

Temecula FC hosts Forza SC in the first leg of the semifinals at Chaparral High School in Temecula on Saturday, March 28 at 5 p.m.

The Raul Briones Cup Final is scheduled for late May.
