Elite Sides Collide In 2025 Raul Briones Cup Final

LA MIRADA (June 6, 2025) - A budding rivalry takes on a new layer on Saturday night.

Temecula FC and Worldwide Problems FC, …, in the Raul Briones Cup Final on Saturday night at Al Barbour Field on the campus of Biola University.

“We’ve turned into two teams that don’t like each other very much," Temecula FC owner Brandon Jantz said. "Maybe it the Raul Briones Cup semifinals from two years ago, or maybe it’s playing them in NISA Nation. Whatever it is, we don’t get along well."

Temecula FC lost to Problems FC in the semifinal round of the 2023 Raul Briones Cup tournament. Now the teams meet twice each season in NISA Nation.

Worldwide Problems FC, the SoCal Premier League’s 2023/24 Division One champion, went on to lose to FC United Kingdom in the ’23 Briones Cup Final before going on a run that included the 2024 NISA Nation West Region title.

Admission is $10. Children 12-and-under are free.
