NPL Week 3 Recap: Southern Utah FC Continues Its Strong Start
LAS VEGAS (September 23, 2025) - Southern Utah FC’s strong start is putting teams on notice.
Forward Damon Keller, midfielder Curtis Smith and forward Alvaro Garcia scored goals for Southern Utah FC in a 3-0 shutout over Extreme Player Development in a Nevada Premier League Men’s First Division match at Mater Academy East High School Stadium in East Las Vegas, NV, on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Southern Utah (2-0-1 overall) is on top of the table for the NPL Men’s First Division through three matches played.
Midfielder David Rivera and forward Victor Jimenez each scored a goal for Be Pro FC in a 2-1 win over Villareal LV United FC at Freedom Park Field in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, Sept. 20. Villareal LV United FC forward Lamar Hayes scored for the second consecutive week in the loss.
Midfielder Jose Arreola and defender Aalan Rosales both scored for Soccer Academy Nevada in a 2-0 shutout over Rebels United at Mater Academy East High School Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 21.
In the Nevada Premier League Men’s Second Division on Sunday, defender Guilherme Alves scored a brace for Southern Utah FC II in a 5-2 win over STG Premier at Little Valley Soccer Field in St. George, UT, and forward Peter Ngoyi scored the first goal, and forward Henry Matadamas scored the last goal for Las Vegas United FC in a 4-1 win over Be Pro FC Reserves at Mater Academy East High School Stadium.
