Year 60 Meets Year 6 In SoCal Division Two Final
LA MIRADA (June 6, 2025) - Experience meets excitement in the battle for the SoCal Premier League Division Two title.
Founded in 1964, Artesia DES FC takes on I.E. Republic in the Division Two Final on Saturday at Al Barbour Field on the campus of Biola University.
"Two hard-working teams battling for the hardware is exactly what we like to see," SoCal Premier League President Matt Morse said. "Artesia DES FC is one of the most history clubs in Southern California, while I.E. Republic FC is one of the Inland Empire’s most exciting up-and-coming clubs."
Artesia DES FC (15-1-1 overall) has not dropped a league match since February, a 6-1 loss to I.E. Republic FC. One of the charter members of the SoCal Premier League, Artesia DES FC is seeking its first Cup since winning the Raul Briones Cup in 2015.
After several Spring seasons in the SoCal Premier League, I.E. Republic FC (14-1-1) finished its first full campaign in dominant fashion, advancing to the semifinals of the Raul Briones Cup and winning their final 13 league matches of the season.
